A photograph of my work does not show the texture of the painting, I have used Hahnemuhle velour paper for the last two years, and like to think that, when you look at the real thing, you feel you could reach out and stroke the hair of the horse I have painted. This is an effect you do not achieve with standard pastel paper making my equine portraits a peice of equine art.
